Zvýšená gama-glutamyltranspeptidáza (GGT) je prítomná, približne u polovice všetkých pacientov s nealkoholickým stukovatením pečene - choroba (NAFLD). NAFLD je pečeňový prejav metabolického syndrómu (MS). Vzťah medzi GGT a MS, alebo prozápalové parametre.
